Waterwise Ornamental Grasses

There are some ornamental grasses that are waterwise and do very well in Utah gardens.  In this photo you can see a great looking combination of the tall Karl Foerster or Feather Reed Grass (Calamagrostis acutiflora) and the short Blue Fescue (Festuca glauca) - with flowering pink spirea on each side.  These grasses need a good watering every 7 to 10 days and only in the hot times of summer.
