Little Bluestem - Winter Color

Little Bluestem Grass - Schizachyrium scoparium is a great example of a grass that has winter interest.  In fall it starts to turn pink.  By November, it becomes a wonderful mixture of pink, tan and purply-mauve color.  It will stay like this throughout the winter, however, sometimes the snow will smash it down.
